There are many Marketing models but STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) is the most used and one of the most popular marketing model followed by SWOT Analysis.
It's one of the commonly applied marketing models in practice. Notably this popularity is gained recently as in past marketing approaches were based on Product only rather than on consumers.
The STP model is useful when creating marketing communications plans since it helps marketers to prioritize propositions and then develop and deliver personalized and relevant messages to engage with different audiences.
This is an audience-focused rather than product-focused approach to marketing communications which helps deliver more relevant messages to commercially appealing audiences.
that's one of the main reason why STP is relavent to Digital marketing too...!
