India's One and only Robotic museum ! Science city Robotic gallery at Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Recently got chance to visit the newly added feather in the crown of Gujarat !
"The Roboseum" is the Robotics Gallery recently developed at Science city Ahmedabad. The Robotics Gallery is developed as an interactive gallery showcasing the frontiers of robotic technologies over an area of more than 10000 sq.mt. and which would provide a platform for the visitors to explore the ever-advancing field of robotics. I have been told by the gallery guide that there are total 79 type of robots on display and more than 40 robots are active in gallery at any point of time.
Robotic gallery has opened for public on 16th July 2021 by Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi under Phase 2 of Gujarat Science City project which was started way back in 1999 !
The huge replica of The Optimus prime from the Transformers movie leaves you mesmerized at right at the entrance.
At the reception of robotic gallery we had encountered with few robots who were designed to welcome and greetings to all visitors ! They also introduce visitors about facility of entire gallery. Visitors can interact with these robots by asking selected questions, they will reply them with utter surprise manner.
Each floor of these 2 story building is dedicated to various robotic dpt. Right from history of robotics to latest showcase of Hollywood movies and actual practical application of robots like defense system, agriculture, manufacturing, medical science, natural disaster etc...
At top floor there is a robotic musical band in which few robots playing musical instruments and dancing on the Bollywood songs. There is one more good "Lab section" in making for students in which students can actually apply and exchange their knowledge with others and have fun.
There are also many practical applications shown for various kind of robots like wall climbing, Manufacturing assembly line, Space shuttle repairing, agriculture, How a robot can help us in Shopping, Cleaning our house etc...
All other section are included in the entry fees charged but it has one dedicated chargeable section for Virtual reality in which visitors can play VR games ! it will give futuristic experience of VR world ! Charges varies from Rs 100 to 200/- as per the selection of yours. Few of the other chargeable items are your own 3D Sketch & 3D sculpture by a robot ! it has charge of Rs. 200 for each item. You can also play air hockey against robot at just Rs. 50 per game.
Tickets booking are having both options online as well as offline from gallery location.
The science city robotic gallery ticket price is Rs.200 for adults, below 3 years kids are free rest all considered as an adult only. the good part is that the gallery is open throughout the year. you can book your tickets and get further information on the Gujarat science city website https://sciencecity.gujarat.gov.in/fees-timing The government of Gujarat had made a very good attempt to
Overall it was a fun trip for me and my family, My kid had liked this place a lot as he is very keen interest in Science projects ! I would suggest all parents to visit this place with their kids. it will surely increase their kid's interest in Science and Robotics.
